Snow Days

We have had sooo much fun these last few days being snowed-in. My schedule worked out perfectly that I have been off and the four of us have had 100%, undistracted family time. Thanks Mimi and Pap for our snow sleds and boots! Luke loved the snow! Hudson...not so much. Most of these pictures are taken from the front window, which was Hudson's favorite place...watching all the fun from the warmth and comfort of the indoors!
"Dad, can we go down just one more time?

I so wonder what all was said between Newt and Luke while they were sitting on the hill...

If Luke sledded down our front hill once, he did 100 times...no fear!

Hudson was frozen, he didn't budge from this stance until he fell and busted his lip on the ice...poor little buddy!

Notice Hudson still frozen in the background

Neighbors came from far and wide to use us for our ski slopes

HAPPINESS!

Bryce and Hudson...we had so much fun at the Ropers' on one of our snowed-in nights!

This pretty much sums up what we did when we were not playing in the snow

"What did I do to deserve this?"

More Teague Pictures

Teague has had a great first week. He has only dropped 3 ounces, weighing 7# 8 oz at his 4 day check up. He is doing everything he is supposed to be doing now: peeing, pooping and sleeping. He does have adequate awake time from 10pm-1am:) He finally received a middle name before leaving the hospital: Teague Minton Smith. Enjoy the pictures...

I love being an aunt to this sweet baby!

Gotta love these legs!

If you are wondering where the pictures are of Luke and Hudson with their new cousin, Hudson came down with Hand, Foot, Mouth (sorry Bryce) the day before Teague was born, so we are laying low for a while:(
Marci is doing great, she was showered with regular clothes on and makeup when I went to see her yesterday. Does not look like she had a baby six days ago at all!

Teague Is Here!

Yah! Teague ? Smith is here. No, he does not have a middle name yet! He is the sweetest little thing. He was born at 7:31 this morning weighing 7# 11 1/2 ounces and 20 3/4 inches long.

Marci called at 12:30 and said they were on their way to the hospital. Mom was conveniently in town for the shower at church that Marci was supposed to have today. It is amazing how easy it is to wake up when a baby is on the way. Here are Mom and I (a little bit excited) outside Marci and Chad's door at 2:00 AM.

(He had better coloring, my camera just did not do so well behind the glass.)

Marci looked great, showing the rest of us up.

Teague and Mimi will get lots of bonding time this week:)

More pictures to come!

4th of July, 2009

Luke and Nathan loved the sparklers. Luke did not love the big fireworks so much. He did branch out and stand in the garage during the firework show as opposed to staying inside.

We did a lot of sitting in the garage watching the storm.

Here's part of the crew waiting out the storm. Classy, huh?

Nathan, Courtney and Luke playing in the sprinkler after mom's "Water Park" had some technical difficulties.

We love you Uncle Mark!
